A Little More About My Artistic Journey

People often ask me why I choose to draw and photograph landscapes and people.

For me, these two subjects can be expressed through a single idea: our home. (the world…nature..we as all part of the same system)

Whether I am observing a person, a city, or a landscape, I am ultimately reflecting on the world we share and the ways we choose to inhabit it.

My work is rooted in an environmental perspective on life. I believe that human beings are part of a complex living system, and that by changing the way we look at the world, we can also change the way we live within it.

If my art, my daily life, and my professional work can encourage even a small shift toward a more humane and ecological way of living, then I feel I have achieved one of my greatest goals.

This vision extends beyond my artistic practice.

For many years, I have tried to reduce my environmental impact through everyday choices: consuming fewer resources, saving water and energy, reducing waste, reusing materials, donating objects instead of discarding them, and extending the life cycle of products whenever possible.

I believe that sustainability is not only a technical concept—it is a daily practice.

Living close to where we work, relying less on transportation, supporting renewable energy, choosing natural food, and consuming more consciously are all part of the same way of thinking.

While living in Brazil, I also sought to support recycling cooperatives and initiatives that promoted the reuse of materials, especially by reducing the consumption of single-use plastics and encouraging more responsible patterns of everyday life.

The same principles have guided my work as an architect since the beginning of my studies.

Every project represents an opportunity to rethink our relationship with nature, resources, and society. My goal has always been to approach architecture through an ecological perspective, seeking solutions that improve people's lives while respecting the environment.

I try to see every project—and every artistic work—as the possibility of a new beginning.

Above all, I strive to think not only as a consumer of the world, but as someone who contributes to it.

I have always believed that we should think as producers rather than consumers.
